Llano del Tanque Rest Area

The Cruz del Llano del Tanque is one of the emblems of the tradition of the month of May that is especially rooted on the island of La Palma. At the end of 2010, the Fuencaliente de La Palma Town Hall, at the time of Mayor Gregorio Alonso Méndez, fit out an outdoor rest area in this place located near the Las Caletas neighborhood, available to offer a relaxing environment to the local visitor and foreign.
This recreational area completes the facilities of this type existing in the municipality, such as the Fuente de los Roques and the Pino de la Virgen. It has a picnic area, parking area, playground, lumber room, toilets, barbecue, drinking water tap, natural stone tables and benches and the niche of the cross, which was also restored coinciding with the inauguration of the recreational area, in November 2010.
