Our Lady Mother of the Church
This temple was built thanks to the community desire of the residents of Las Indias and Los Quemados, mainly with contributions in cash and individual work on holiday and weekends.
The initiative began in December 1975 and is built on a site in Las Indias, with a surface area of 144 square meters and in a building 45 meters long by 30 meters wide. It has a square and follows a modern and functional plan, according to a project by the architects Hernández Cabrera and Cabrera Núñez. The initial budget amounted to “1,210,000 pesetas”.
